Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Westbury is in New York, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Westbury follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

It's a beautiful restaurant. Parking was convenient. Service was meh. We had to flag down a waitress to place our order even though there were just 3 other tables of customers at noon. The crab soup dumpling and scallion pancake with beef were acceptable. Nothing special. Shanghainese siu mai was not what we expected. We didn't like it. The udon with shredded pork was a HUGE DISGRACE. How could the restaurant charge $14 for a small plate of udon with 6 short and thin strips of pork? Yes, we counted. We could hardly see them. We will not be returning. There are much better places in Northeastern Queens 😑

Excellent experience from start to finish! The restaurant was busy, but the service was attentive and efficient. The xiao long bao were delicious, especially the black truffle and crab roe flavors. The braised beef noodle soup was comforting with incredibly tender beef, and the stir-fried rice cakes had great wok flavor. We also loved the crispy shrimp, iced soy milk, and traditional desserts. Every dish was well prepared, and nothing disappointed. Definitely one of the best Shanghai restaurants on Long Island. Highly recommend!

Our server David was very knowledgeable and the food is fantastic! We usually go to the flushing location, but this one is much closer to home. We’re so happy this place opened up!

What a beautiful restaurant! The soup dumplings are the best I’ve ever had. You can see the chefs making fresh dumplings right in front of you. The dumplings are sooo yummy! The green beans were so garlicky and yummy it made me actually like vegetables. The scallion pancakes are some of the best I’ve ever had. Fried- rice is fantastic. place is beautiful inside and the servers are very good. This is a cute place to have a date night or celebrate an occasion. I’m looking forward to going again.

Healthy portions, super fast service, robot delivery, very reasonable, very clean! Food was very good and fresh. A couple of dishes could've used a bit more seasoning. I would have liked dumpling sauce for my dim sum.
